A challenging golf course (especiallywhen the wind gets up and the Irish Sea beckons), spectacular scenery and the warmest hospitality you'll find anywhere. My particular favourite holes - the 1st gets you thinking from the off, a carry over the gully into the wind on the 2nd, the elevated tee shot on the 4th with bunkers and the sea waiting for any error, the beautiful par 5 11th (St John's) by Coney Island, and the often brutal par 3 12th. I can't wait to play the newly developed par 5 16th - it looks fabulous.

Lovely spot to play golf and have a great bit of food afterwards. Checkout Thursdays when there is likely to be an open on.

Ordered a golfers fry. Terrible. Sausage was foull and the soda was burnt. The veg soup was made 4 days prior according to the chef. Won't be back.

Beautiful course with outstanding views. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd say it's a bit on the casual side for such a good course. The only downside I can come up with is that it might not be too challenging for a low handicapper.

Playing golf 20 years -This is one of the best experiences I have had at any venue. The pre round meal and a few drinks was perfect, the shop were excellent and am delighted with the merchandise. The course, the views would say it's tough but fair, the conditions were windy but you accommodate that. Had a really great time on the course and then a super meal in clubhouse - its haunted apparently- after where we by chance met Rich Beem and Andrew Coltart. A brilliant golfing day. I could not recommend this course, the club and the staff highly enough.

Very nice staff, beautiful views & tasty food. Didn't play so can't comment on the course. Enquired about green fees. £170, or £90 if GUI handicapped. Not sure if an R&A handicap gets the same deal. !!! 😄😂

Fantastic course and even better club. Everyone makes you feel so welcome. The pro shop and back office staff cannot do anymore to help you. Still debating over joining as a full member (only reason why I’m debating is the fact that I am about 70 mins) price for full membership is great for the course. The views are awesome and some of the best in the country.

Took South African visitors/friends to the "Oldest Clubhouse in the World" and they were not disappointed! Good food and friendly staff at a reasonable price. Plus unbelievable views - it wasn't raining. (I know, a first for NI)
